For about 6 months now, I have been hearing a kind of grinding noise whenever I turn right in my S2. I took the car into several garages, who could not (were unwilling....it`s a TVR) diagnose the problem. I replaced the wheel bearings/ pads even uprated the disks.....No effect. I was considering a full suspension rebuild, when I thought, I`d take one last look with the wheel off. And there it was, staring me in the face. The inner wheel arch had worked its way free from some of the pop-rivits and a small section had dropped enough to rub everso slightly against the tyre! Five minutes with a drill and rivit gun later, all was quiet...... DOH ! What a waste of time, money and effort. Guess I`m just saying, never rule out the simple and obvious. I`m off to stick my head in the sand for a while !
