Interesting job opportunity and hobby for the right person

Not sure if this is allowable - not trying to avoid payment if suitable sections exist - just posting in good faith.
We have two immediate job requirements here at Hartech that I wondered if anyone might be interested in or knows someone that might be. One part time voluntary (with expenses) and One full time salaried.
Just in case anyone reading this does not know about us we can be researched on www.hartech.org Porsche specialists. We re-manufacture engines in our own precision workshops, larger capacity conversions, racing parts, standard services and repairs and sometimes sales. We are located in Bolton near Manchester.
FIRSTLY.
Basically we need someone to replace me. Now in my 75th year I cannot go on for ever – so we need a permanently employed (obviously younger) engineer that can manage the following (all be it with my help and initial support).
(1) It would be advantageous if they have enough formal engineering education to understand something about basic material technology, stress and strain, fatigue life, design, drawing (or CAD) and have been involved in or experienced the assembly of engines and/or small batch manufacturing.
(2) Must be used to working in a small business environment.
(3) It would also be advantageous if they were comfortable analysing technical things on computers (especially using spreadsheets and data bases) and were interested in racing (but not essential).
SECONDLY
(4) Our opposition have been active with presenting video productions on Facebook and other mediums. Often the quality is excellent but the technical content poor, wrong or suspect – and this gets too much acceptance if the video itself is professional – misleading many.
(5) We have traditionally competed with written reports but this is no longer as user friendly as Videos and the public no longer have the patience to read through them.
(6) So we need to start presenting our own technical videos – but have no experience of it or time to create good videos like our competitors.
(7) Is there anyone out there (preferably living in the North West) who would be interested in spending some time at the factory videoing specific topics and then tidying up the results to present short videos on the Internet?
(8) We have too many other commitments to extremely expensive research and development projects in the immediate future to pay the costs we incurred when we had our professional videos (that appear on our webs site) made but would cover reasonable expenses (open to suggestions).
Anyone interested in either role please contact me Barry Hart (Baz) at baz@hartech.org

Is experience required for the engineering role?
I've just recently graduated with an MSc in mechanical engineering design and live in the Astley Bridge/ Sharples area so quite local. I don't have much experience besides doing work experience at Vauxhall Ellesmere Port which to be honest doesn't count towards much.

Little bit of steerage on the video side of things....
As mentioned above, it costs money to create good looking video content and a degree of creative capacity to make them engaging to watch. You shouldn't rely upon hobbyist filmmakers to provide professional content, particularly with the regularity your posts suggests.
I would suggest that you develop this skill within the current workforce. They know what to shoot and what to say and could most likely fit this in around what else they are doing.
A friend and professional cohort of mine provides self-video 'packs' which comprise a box of goodies (Gimbal, Phone Frame, Tripod, Light, Mic) and training on shooting and editing. Ping him an email: jhall@j9imaging.co.uk

I've had one of your written reports many years ago and thought it was invaluable in helping me make my decision and felt like really good value for money - i hope you're not going to abandon the written report!
I agree it would be nice to have a bit of spoken video but the physical detailed written reports were great to refer back to and also very informative too

I'd be interested to see what your competitors are doing that you're trying to keep up with if you wouldn't mind sharing a link, either here or by DM. Is the aim just so you can put the right technical knowledge out there or is it to drum up business? I'd assume the latter, in which case I think you're probably better off with a general uptick in social media activity across the usual platforms rather than just seeking to copy what your competitors are doing - with the benefit that these videos probably don't need to be as long or as glossy as a production video would need to be. Just my 2p.
What purpose are the videos to serve?
Increase organic customer reach / Spread the word about your business? or are you wanting to generate profits from youtube subscribers etc (eventually)
If you're wanting the organic reach then I would look more at your website, i've just had a look and theres so many improvements you can make, unfortunately if you had a great video, then linked back to your website it would feel like two seperate companies
