Bulkhead bearing housing - HELP !!

Please can someone help me.
I noticed some play in the steering and everything pointed to the bulkhead bearing. I eventually managed to source one locally (only cost a fiver). I fitted this last night and thought everything was fixed. I then went for a short drive and the small amount of play returned. I had another look and discovered play again in the area of the bulkhead bearing. I looked into things a bit closer to discover it isn't the bearing but the plastic part that the triangular steering column passes through (part that fits inside the bearing.
Does many body know what vehicle this is from and if possible a part number. I think it is Ford but am not sure.
Any information would be really appreciated. I have the day off tomorrow and really want to get this sorted for the weekend and hopefully the nice weather.

It's from a Sierra/Escort. Take it to a Ford dealer, they will recognise it immediately. My local dealer did. If memory serves, there is another plastic part that goes with it. Might as well replace the lot, they don't cost much.
