Not an accurate title for my question but... would you good people share your views on buying a 2017 car with 24k that I believe has been standing for three months... and potentially another month before I were to collect it.
It’s advertised by Carbase and after doing some digging I’ve learnt they did the MOT at the end of November. The advertised mileage is the same as back then so I’m assuming it’s just sat there for three months.
Should I be unduly worried? As in, should I still proceed with my plan to buy it and pick up (when my money comes through) towards the end of March?
Sorry if this is a naive question! Jon

As mentioned, cars often sit around for ages before being sent out to dealers, and then sit even longer before being sold, then sit around again when they're traded back in before being sold again.
I have my misgivings about these "car supermarket" type situations, but, if it's the car you want and you're happy with its condition, it having been sat for a while shouldn't be a problem.

Would you rather they'd driven it? If it's a good price & you're happy with the deal buy it.
BUT at that price I'd be buying these if you want a Mercedes saloon

Now if you don't mind having an A250 AMG Engineered drivetrain in a non Mercedes body then the Infiniti Q30 Sport makes a lot of sense (the interiors are almost identical the Infiniti is nicer) take a look at the interior shots:

Was not aware of the Infiniti but not loving the design... it looks like it’s melted and kind of imploding!
Re your suggested cars... My main requirement is a) that the car is a Mercedes, b) it has an opening sunroof, c) is petrol, d) has reasonable oomph, e) is either grey or navy blue, Plus e) I don’t like the A Class... just seems ordinary to me... but with the boot on the end as a CLA it seems more elegant, so hence ending up with that choice. (B class... bit boring, C class bit bigger than I need).
As for ‘would I prefer that they’d driven the car... well, yes. I’d much prefer that every fortnight they took it for a spin for half an hour. Surely that’s much healthier for the car than just sat immobile for 3/4 months.
However Obv that’s a naive wish and your fellow posters have made it clear that I’m fussing about nothing.
Thank you again for the reply, which has reassured me I’m worrying unnecessarily.
