Dog walker shot!
Discussion
[i]Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that they are searching for a man who "fired a gunshot from an unknown location and struck the victim" on North Sierra Bonita Avenue at 9:40pm on Wednesday night.
A "possible suspect" fled the scene in a white vehicle towards Hollywood Boulevard, they added.

That 'white vehicle' will be the dog-napping van that local Facebook groups have been warning us about for weeks. Better tell LAPD to look for a van with UK plates.

Interesting (and rather telling) that she's put up a $500k reward for the return of her dogs rather than as an incentive to aid the capture of a person or persons involved in a seriously violent crime!
It's worthy of note that her course of action would actually be illegal if she were in the UK.

It’s illegal to offer a finders fee / reward in the U.K.?It's worthy of note that her course of action would actually be illegal if she were in the UK.

I'd rather be offering the poor chap who got shot something towards recovering after taking four bullets in the chest, amazing that he survived.
Is that what happened? f
k me! It just said "shot" on the news. To be honest, that makes her actions even more questionable. The perps certainly didn't fire a waring shot which had unintended consequences. Edit; years ago on the Steve Wright show on Radio 2 they used to do a segment called "Lost in Showbiz", generally a bit about how detached from the real world various 'slebs were. This lass is most certainly Lost In Showbiz!

Of course we have no idea what financial/medical aid she is providing for the guy. It’s a bit harsh to jump in with two feet about how bad she is for offering to reward the return of her dogs and nothing to the guy.
Really? It's not about what she is doing as regards his care. It's about her offering a reward for the return of animals and not the capture of a clearly extremely dangerous criminal. Looking at it cynically, she should have gone down the "Ransom" route (Mel Gibson film) and offered half a mil, or more, to anyone who rats the guy out. Even if she offered several times that she'd make it back through the move, TV, documentary rights in no time at all when they got the guy, which they would. Sorry but people like her are just living in some weird alternate reality.
