Hi All, another roof problem post but looking for some guidance as the car (2011 DB9) has already had a RCM replaced a few years back and I have none of the other electrical gremlins that normally indicate an RCM failure. I have also had both tonneau latch motors were replaced as well with the enhanced model which should stop water ingress.

The fault I have is that as soon as I touch the volante roof switch I get roof movement paused / roof failure detected.

I get no window movement, no pump operating ... nothing just the failure messages.

I have checked all the cabin and boot fuses related to roof / window components and used the foxwell scanner to check for faults it can read but no joy at all.

I know it’s going to need a trip to the dealer for proper diagnoses, and I imagine water is going to play a role as by car seems to fill up like a swimming pool unfortunately, but I am just checking if anyone thinks I have overlooked anything. I have done all the battery disconnects, seat reset, battery health check, window reset procedure.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks
