Driver’s Door misaligned
Discussion
Hi
Noticed as I went to my car that the door isn’t shutting flush. I’ve not damaged it, there’s no marks suggesting somebody’s hit it.
I’ve had a close look and nothing looks out of shape compared to passenger door. Of course it is shut properly, that’s the first thing I checked.
Any ideas what could cause this and how to fix it?

Thank you.
I did think there was a bodywork section but couldn’t find it, please move if I’m in the wrong place.

Mark the position of the catch with a felt pen before doing anything, so if it all goes pear-shaped, you can return to where you were.
Don't undo the screws too much - leave the catch able to be moved with a bit of resistance. If the door is at the correct height, make sure the catch goes inwards nice and parallel and doesn't drop.
Nip the screws up before closing the door as there's a risk that the door may shift it out of its new position.
