Seriously? NO metal heads here?

OK not proud - I'll talk to myself (again) rofl

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Af0P6XEkI7Y

AC/DC - from 1991 - I was here - just in front of the big engineers rig in the middle. It was absolutely awesome smile

Here I am - was either on my bf shoulders or standing on a large wooden crate that my ex bf made for us.... we carried our stuff in then upturned it and put all our stuff underneath inside. Then short-arse me could stand on it smile

I know we were here =- because I / he / our mates were wearing /waving his hideous acid wash 80's denim jacket with a patch on back - we all took turns with the damn heavy ugly thing - - I also wore sparkly tiger striped lycra leggings, white baseball boots and I had very big hair lol

Can't go wrong with bit of Rammstein

Wish I could have seen them when I was younger, think I will still go when they tour again but both they and I are now 15 years older biggrin

I was there too (MOR 1991) Seems a long time ago.

I'll give you this. Still one of the best live bands going. This was the day of his 60th birthday and Bruce ran around the MEN for the whole gig. I was there too

I've seen them twice (Download 2013 and Milton Keynes 2019) and they're absolutely worth seeing. I was in the nosebleeds and I was roasting, let alone the poor souls up front.

(my view in MK)

Radio Regenbogen have a metal channel that's decent (no adverts!) and they played this. Annoyingly in my head.

Couple of favourites from back in the day:-

That last Megadeth vid I always find astonishing. It's played at a punishing pace, and Mustaine's rhythm guitar is as tight and complex as Menza's drumming. I still can't believe Menza is no longer with us.

My first ever "big" gig, IE , had to get on a train to London.....

Still love Strangers in the night now.....

And, one of the most incendiary gigs I have ever been to....

We came out of that gig shell shocked, having just seen a group right at peak "your time is now....."

Oxford 02, so less than a thousand peopel...

I loved that album! That and DLR totally sum up the MTV ‘cock rock’ era.

This would be worth having (as do I wink ) if only for having a record on the wonderfully named Bludgeon Riffola label.
But it has a banging riff and is a very early outing for a band who would become massive, famous for their somewhat overproduced (IMHO) lush sound.
And their challenged-in-the-article-of-arm-quantity drummer smile

You like AC/DC?
This lot do something similar. Very similar. Well carbon copy actually but they do it so well 'tis impossible not to shake your dandruff to.

I know you're doing a monthly thing for various genres, but incase you didn't realise there's a fairly large Metal thread here:

If we're going for footage of gigs we were at.....freezing from going cold between bands but nicely went mental for the 9. Surprisingly Sheffield Arena Jan 15 was much more violent and mental (nearly broke my arm, shoulder and fingers at that gig) but no proshot of that.
