suggestions Please for car purchase to around 4k

Hi all,

My daughter hates her 05 plated 1.0 Yaris and wants a newer car.

She wants to buy in haste and repent at leisure.

She has found a nice looking car within her budget, but the seller has about 3/4 bad reviews. It's a Mazda 2 black alloys, full length see through roof

The car is 70 miles away, and I have told her there are plenty out there, and maybe let this one go.

She likes the look of Mazda 2's, fiesta's, Polo's, Golf's

Can anyone help point us in the correct direction?

What does she think of Nissan Pulsar? G/f's daughter was looking at Fiestas about 6 months ago. We saw one at a dealer which wasn't great but they had a Pulsar next to it which we all thought was a much better looking car. It was also very high spec compared to Fiestas (discs all round, dual zone climate control, rain sensing wipers etc) and cheaper for similar age and mileage.

So far it's proved to be a very good buy.

Don't focus too much on bad reviews. If it's 4 bad reviews out of 5 then yes, beware. If it's 4 out of 10,000 then there's nothing to worry about.
