Child seat advice required

Got a mate with a Griff, and he's not exactly Mr IT Literate, so I'm posting on his behalf.

Anyway... he's got a little girl who is 2 1/2 and wants to go in the Griff (something about liking the noise) but he can't find a suitable seat / booster / kid thingy.

Can anyone offer some advice that I can pass on...?

I use a Britax HiLiner Booster seat when I take my 3 year old son out in the Griff. He seems pretty comfortable. With the booster seat fitted he can at least see over the dash and the seat back sets the seatbelt at the correct height for him too. It's very easy to fit and remove this unit too.

Me to in my Chimaera - you should have seen the look on the lady at Mothercare when I said I need a car seat to fit this please :-)

I just took the car there and they happily tried seats in it until we found one that fitted nicely.

Problem that I found was that the seat-belt-buckle-stalk in my 99 Chim was very long and Babies-R-Us said that they had nothing which fitted such a long stalk....

Edited to add: we are using the Maxi-Cosi Priori-XP....

Hmm, not good. It's a 500SE and has Cerb seats so unfortunately the seat does not fit between the bolsters. Might be ok on a standard Griff though
