Hi All,

Got the car up on some stands in the garage at the mo doing a few odds and ends, and I noticed that the wooden boot floor seems to have some surface mould forming.

I suppose it’s as a result of sitting in the garage over winter and getting damp, but I’m wondering how best to deal with it.

Anyone else seems something similar ? How did you treat/deal with it ? Can I strip the wood out and seal it in some way ?

I would take floor out, spray with bleach or white vinegar. Leave it to dry then varnish it.

I used danish oil on my floor when I built it and reapplied it after about 5 years, seems to be lasting well.
