Is there such a thing as PERSONAL indemnity cover?

I'm talking about personal cover here, not business or professional cover. What I'm getting at is, if a person were to cause an accident that is due to their personal behaviour rather than their business, professional or vehicular activities is it possible to insure for it? I mean if someone is negligent whist say, shopping, and causes injury or property damage, is it possible to insure for it? If you are running to catch a bus and you send someone flying and injure them can you get cover for that? It's not something what particularly worries me, I'm just curious as to whether such a thing exists. I was under the impression that it's available in other countries and is common in Europe - although I'm willing to be corrected on that.

Yes, to an extent.

Many Home Insurance Policies include Personal Liability cover, and not just for bodily injury or property damage caused in connection with your home and/or use of it.

Typically, it is only given when Contents cover is purchased. Merely purchasing Buildings cover does not tend to offer cover beyond Occupier’s Liability, which is not the same.
