I bought a new one the other day, Exide Ultra W065TE, fits in the battery box perfectly. £47.65 from ATS.

Hi Gold,

I got one last feb, Lucas £61 but with 4 year warranty. couldnt find the 630amp one (as recommended in the 'bible') anywhere so had to get the 590amp one and it has been fine and was listed as the one for the job anyway (I suspect they have stopped making the 630amp one). The ones at my main dealer were 430amps and £70??!!

Costco sell Bosch battries,the TVR one is the same as the Range Rover spec,think it was about £40 ish,but you have to be a member.

I have a Red Top 20, fitted inside a Tesco Childs lunch box on a custom made bracket. Gives a lot more room for the ECU to sit nicely along side and the passenger can have four inches extra leg room. Important thing with any modern battery is Don’t let it go flat.
