Does anybody here use a heat press?

I'm looking at artworks onto tee shirts.

Any experience? Which one to go for? User experience?

I use a (much) older version of this, simple to use, great results - most are Chinese models with different brand names - quality of the materials used makes the biggest difference though - cheap t shirts - cheap vinyl - cheap results!

Print on demand is the way to go, but you need to keep using it or the inks dry up and thats the end of your print heads

Thanks chaps, I'll have a good look at the links.

I looked at buying a DTG, the plan was to work from home, we have a conservatory that would be big enough, but its freezing at night and hot in the day, the machine we looked at and the salesman agreed that the print head would get the hump with the temp variantion.

So I found a local guy with a printer, plan is to get him to do the prints and I'll do the heat press transfer at home.
