Rover SD1 Vitesse racing footage

Has anyone got any footage of the afore mentioned work of art performing in saloon car / touring car races especially if it's in a rippable format

There's a twin-turboed one in the Cov Transport Museum you could nick.

Used to have one of those.

Very entertaining, especially when a rear suspension bush wore out.....at which point it oversteered on dry roundabouts at 20mph.

Quite a surprise on the first occasion.....

see if you can get the 1988 BTCC video - Leech's example appears a couple of times I think, including his huge backwards shunt. Great season anyway - Rouse in the cossie RS500 and Steve Soper challenging him a couple of times in the Eggenberger RS500 in that wonderful Texaco livery. Wonder what happened to the model of that car I built...

If you like the SD1's speak to Paul at Austec, he was finninshing a full race spec one last year. Don't know where it went. Seem to recall it might have been the last SD1 chassis built and also have had a rude chevvy LS1 lump in it .
