I feel your pain, and such lovely looking dog, she reminds me of the last JR we had.

Very sad news. It never gets easier .Dogs are such brief visitors to our lives, and leave such emptiness afterwards. My sincere sympathies.

Thanks for the kind words guys, you are right she was a lovely looking doggo. Such a sweet and gentle girl.

Now the working week is done and I’m sitting here and she’s gone I’m feeling pretty low.

You must be feeling utterly awful. Could you sneak a hug from a friend's dog? I'm sure they'd both be happy to help out.

Hope you are feeling a little better this morning.

They leave such a huge hole when they go.

Time does help.

Such a cheeky, attentive, loving little face.

Be happy for the fact she had a good life living with good people.
Dogs are the only animals I have treated as friends so it bloody hurts when they pass.

Sharp reminder today. So odd. Cuppa tea and a chocolate biccie.... a penguin bar.

For the last 15 years my sidekick always had the last little bit of any biccie.... . Today I’m looking at the last bit in my hand. Weird. No eyes watching. No grateful little snaffle. Have to eat the last bit myself.

It stopped me in my tracks. An odd jolt of reminder from an unexpected direction.

I’m grateful she’s at peace and not further wasting away and getting progressively worst day by day.
