Italy first Eu member state to block Cv19 vaccine shipment

Covid: Italy 'blocks' AstraZeneca vaccine shipment to Australia https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-56279202
So Italy are the first to prevent a CV19 vaccine shipment out of the EU. Rightly or wrongly. (personally I cans see Italy’s point of view that Australia has relatively low infection rates)
I wonder how it will go down with the private companies, I would be mighty pissed if I was a private company and a country decided to just keep you merchandise for them selves.
Who’s to say what Australia are paying or what the pharmaceutical companies are contractually obliged to supply them. Imagine now if it costs these pharmaceutical companies fines from Australia because Italy says don’t give a s
t it’s ours.
If I was CEO of a big big company it would certainly get my attention. Would you pull all you manufacturing business from that country or region and take it somewhere else.
Yes I know where in exceptional times and during war this could happen but it’s a big call from Italy.
