Theres a little convoy going to VW from Bromley on the 20th..if anyone would like to join us please let us know.
Where we meet would really depend on where people are coming from & the numbers involved. A couple of suggestions would be The Pickhurst pub in Hayes, or perhaps somewhere near the M25/A21 junction.

2 Griffs & a Cerbera so far..lets see what we can do!

How about Clackett Lane and try to meet up with those coming over from Essex etc. I'll be coming up the A2 then round M25 so it would suit me.

Looks like we have a bit of interest. Clacket Lane services would be a good place if people are coming from several directions.
My guesse would be to meet @ 10am & go on from there.
If anyone wants to meet up prior to Clackets, in or around Bromley, please let me know...the more the merrier.

I can't make VW this time around, however ... I'll be passing by the Pickhurst on Sunday morning so could meet up with people before you head off. At least I'd then know who I'm waving at around Bromley

What sort of time are you thinking of?

A couple of us are meeting at the Little Chef on the A21 between Farnborough & Green Street Green (just south of Bromley) for an early fry up, then on to Clackets for 10am.
If anyone wants to join us please do, its on the way if you are coming from S.London..just look out for two identical Cosmos Blue Griffs in the car park.

Which part of Clackets would be the best to meet up,and how many any planning to be there?

Hi Nick, I plan to meet up with Paul (Rolex Blue)at the Esso garage just outside Selsdon at 9.30am.
I will be passing the Pickhurst Tavern at around 9.15am so if anyone else from West Wickham and the surrounding area wishes to join in you are most welcome.
We will take the A22 to J6 (M25), and then around to J11. No need to go all the way to J13!
At J11, take the left exit A317, at the roundabout turn right onto the Guildford Rd A320.At the next mini roundabout turn left into Holloway Hill and immediately take 1st right into Hardwick lane.Follow this road to the end, passing over the M3 - about 2 miles. At junction turn right, pass through railway bridge, to junction with Christchurch Rd.Turn left, continue along Christchurch rd over the roundabout and up to the junction with London Rd.Now turn right and You are there!!! Car park is on the left.Hope this helps! See you all there!!!

I resigned myself to the fact that I won't have the new dashboard in the Griff in time, the clock surrounds come back from the chrome platers today but the sheer amount of time needed to do all the re wiring just means it won't happen tomorrow, what that means in real terms is that the Griff will be staying in the Garage and I'll be at Clackett Lane 10am in a Green XK8, sorry for letting the side down see you all there

Cutmonster - Spotted !!!

You were on the A2 for a short distance this morning, joined at the Shooters Hill Rd junction, left at the next junction onto Woolwich Rd. We were right in front of you in the red Land Rover with the PH sticker in the back window

We're hoping to join you all tomorrow unless the rain and wind is too horrible - we'll be in a mini convoy of the Landie and a dark blue Chim (2 kids in tow so we have to bring the back-up vehicle!). The Land Rover's max velocity on a downhill stretch with the wind behind it is just nudging 70 so we'll no doubt be bringing up the rear.....
