They've looked after my Audis for many years, and are my go-to for MOTs for all of my cars.
They have good experience of VWs, take a pragmatic approach to proper engineering fixes, are friendly and are reasonably priced.
Just don't expect swanky coffee (or indeed any coffee) and marble-floored waiting rooms.

Yep, been using them for the last couple of years for my TTS. Not saving much money vs Audi, but feel like they are doing more work for the cost and know their stuff.NDA said:
A friend's son needs his VW Polo looked at - nothing major... alignment, brakes.
Not sure he needs an Indy for these? For alignment go to the nearest decent indie tyre place that has a Hunter type setup.
For brakes, any decent local garage, or same as above. And ask they use oem parts.
Probably less traveling and cheaper. Leave the VAG indy for when he needs a service or some more advanced work doing that would benefit from lots of VAG based knowledge.

I would recommend SE Autoworks - Walnut Tree Close Guildford - 4 minutes walk from the station.
Phil and Jonny (owners) very knowledgeable and experienced on VAG - Jonny used to own a B5 RS4- have used them for coming on to 10 years, before which I used The Phirm (before they moved from their Thursley location down the A3),
Nothing against the The Phirm at all (I used to use them afterall), however if you are looking for someone in Guildford, may be worth speaking to Phil or Jonny at SE Autoworks as they are actually in Guildford, and right next to the station.

Yep using SE Autoworks now and also using them for an Audi too.... very good recommendation, they're great.
