Evening folks, I have just ordered a new rear screen seal from David Gerald (thanks for the tip Mr Sails!) complete with the chrome locking strip. The screeen is out and ready for refitting, is there any tips for fitting the new one I should be aware of?

Thanks in advance.

Hammer & nails ain't the best method of attachment.

I hope this helps.

Steve I'm not stupid, that would cause leaks!

Whereas welding would be a far more secure option!

If you've got the chrome insert strip, Wollie Trim do a tool that basically splits open the rubber and inserts the chrome all in one go, apparently saves a lot of time and effort in the fitting process. How you go about actually getting the thing in though, I imagine that its a case of one on the inside of the car, one on the outside, and manouvre into position.

I wish I was as close as this to finishing mine...

I'll try and dig up a link to the tool for you.
