Conference calling
Discussion
Hi, I need to set up a one off conference call with 5 people. At least 2 of the people aren’t particularly IT literate so I’d like to offer them a number they can dial into. Dial in for everyone would also work, no need for video. I have Skype for home but this doesn’t do conference dial in and I don’t really want to subscribe to something for a one off call. Any ideas ?

Whatsapp / iMessage allow group calls
MS Teams has an option for dial in number
Google Voice allows multiple callers IIRC
Thanks although I don’t really want to sign up for teams or anything that requires an app download. MS Teams has an option for dial in number
Google Voice allows multiple callers IIRC

Skype now has a browser version too, you can just e-mail everyone a link they click on to join the meeting without needing them to install anything. Personally I think the video quality on Zoom is slightly better, but as above you only get 45 minutes free without a subscription on Zoom.
https://www.freeconferencecall.com/ will do all that is required for an audio conference, just need to set up a free account.

I’m pretty sure if you click the url from a phone (iPhone), first thing it does is prompt you to download the app.12345kevin said:
