TODAYonline all over the screen

[GreenV8S]

I followed a link from this thread|http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=141&t=192091 about red Ken's speech, to TODAYonline.com.

Somehow this site managed to put ticker tape banners over the browser toolbar, the start menu and system tray. These things cropped up all over the screen. Is it just me? How did they do that then?

Mozilla Firefox/1.0.4, Adaware, Spybot, Spyware Blaster, firewalls, antivirus etc all up to date.

Check that it hasn't actually installed. You should be able to remove it from "Add/Remove Programs" in control panel. If it's not there check the Programs list in the "Start" menu.
