Silly cow shouldn't be flashing her décolletage in front of all of those over-sexed old white men!

Maybe they could soften the amendment by making it only apply to those 'persons who self-identify as male' who prefer those of the opposite 'self-identified gender' and are potential sexual predators?

I also note that the DM has wisely turned off comments for this article - wonder why? Is she the token white version of the equally intellectual Diane Abbott?

I had to watch the video of her actually saying that just to make sure it wasn't being mis-quoted.

What. A. Lunatic.

The victim was allegedly murdered by a male police officer. I can't see them being curfewed so wouldn't have made any difference.

Well quite. Some say that the House of Lords should be abolished. After seeing this fruit loop in action you can see their point.

She didn’t expect it to go anywhere. She is trying to make a point about the risks she believes women face. What she ends up doing is showing the discrimination that exists against men. This attitude is one of the reasons why things don’t change.

Given most violence against women occurs in the home, forcing men to stay home seems a little unwise. I'm sure she was trying to make some sort of clever comparison point but has fked it up massively.

In today’s woke virtue signalling society I wouldn’t be so sure it won’t happen.

Indeed

Any the reason why men are frothing about it is because they don’t realise, or don’t care, that women already live under a self-imposed curfew

No, the reason is that men feel they are being blamed for the actions of a few. A lot of men are feeling like they are the punch bags for societal frustration. For example much has been made of the BAME risk of Covid, yet little of men’s risk. Despite the fact that men are as much at risk as BAME people (with BAME men being most at risk).

No, personally I'm angry because the tragic murder of a young woman (allegedly) at the hands of someone entrusted to protect society is being used as a political stunt by someone who has clearly taken leave of their senses. It's the lowest of the low.

Many women I know have spoken of their abhorrent experiences and I believe the vast majority of men would agree it is unacceptable and must be stopped. There is much we as men must learn from this and it is damn right that we all must do better to protect women from any kind of harassment or assault.

However this bargain basement grandstanding is absolutely not helpful and only serves to drum up further division. It sickens me almost as much of the appalling waste of life we have witnessed this week.
