Fuel tank range 420r and 620s

Guys can anyone share their experience with mileage on the 420r and 620r

Will help me make a decision.

I've had my 420r for 3 years now and on a spirited drive out to wales for a day I achieve around 35mpg. When I tour I'll get around 40mpg. I have read that the 620r can only get around 100 miles per tank and on full chat will burn through 1 litre of fuel a minute!
