Cannot see Netork Drive in W10
Discussion
I'm hoping that someone will recognise this problem and have a simple answer for me. It will need to be simple as I'm not particularly PC literate unfortunately, I had a vague idea a few years ago but I think I've been left behind.
To try to keep it brief and to the point, I have a desktop PC with Win 10 installed, a separate hdd connected via USB for back ups and a little Verbatim NAS drive in the garage connected via ethernet. For some strange reason I can no longer see this NAS drive in Windows Explorer. When I click on the explorer icon, it brings up a variety of printer and router related stuff but there always used to be a folder option to allow access to the drive. I can't map it as it's not seen as an option in "Map Network Drive", it's just as if it's disappeared.
I use Synch Back Free to back up to the NAS and, having checked, it's still backing up every day so the drive is still working, just that I can no longer see it on my PC.

Thanks for the prompt reply,
Unfortunately, whilst being similar to my problem, the one's you linked to are not quite the same. I already did the obligatory reboots and checked the Samba setting which is still switched on, so I'm at a bit of a loss now. I am however going to wander off into the garage, knowing that, whilst it probably won't repair itself, at least it can't follow me and annoy me in there...
I may have another look at it later this afternoon when I'm in a better frame of mind.
