BMW X5 e53 brief power interruption

Recently got a fault code for steering angle sensor as well as a traction light and abs. Fitted a new one and went to reset and they just wouldn’t go off. I’ve now got a new code coming up as “brief power interruption”
Been told maybe a fault abs module? If I was to buy a used one would it needed to be coded to the car? Thanks
