Yes, there is a thread for the originally missing and now very sadly confirmed murdered Sarah Everard - But the possibility of vigils, not only in Clapham, but in various towns across the UK - Should they go ahead?

No, they serve no real purpose but can act as a focus for the transmission of disease.
That having been said the Traveller funerals with congregations of ~500 unmasked revellers should also have been prevented from happening, rather than being supported by the Police. But, you know, they're a protected ethnic group.

I don’t really see the point of them but if people get to have a mass participation event that sounds good. I think it will be used as an excuse to party and that is well needed after a year of restrictions. Douglas Quaid said:
