Le Mans 2006 dates

Anyone know the dates yet for Le Mans 24-hr 2006? We need to get booked up in time!

HI,

I phoned the ACO (L'Automobile Club de L'Ouest) who organise the race in France just after this year's race to find out the date for 2006. A very close pal is having a big fortieth bash second weekend in June and Im the M/C.Unfortunately the ACO told me they won't finalise the date till the end of the year!!
Usually the weekend coincides with and is just before,the weekend nearest the longest day, so LM is often around 17-19th June.They did have it a week earlier when they hosted a big footie competition (was it the World Cup?)a few years ago and the race started at a most unusual 2pm rather than the traditional 4pm.Brilliant, we could all see the finish and then drive back up the N138 or wherever at a more leisurely pace(yeah right!)

Wedgie- You want to book a camping space asap! Lots of the campsites are already booked up and were in June.
