Really sad to hear, I've long since lost interest in watching F1 but when I was growing up it and his accompanying commentary felt like essential viewing. Plus he did the early Playstation F1 games, when having actual commentary was a really cool novelty. RIP.

Had the honor of meeting Murray at a rallycross meeting some years ago at Lydden hill
Absolute gentleman and had a good chat about Formulat Student, which he hadn't heard about.

RIP Murray, your voice raised many generations of motorsport fans.

Genuinely really sad at this news, growing up as a kid watching F1 and Grandstand rallycross he was THE voice of F1/Motorsport for me. He had that wonderful blend of enthusiasm and infectious excitement.

RIP Great man and thanks for all the memories

You've summed how I remember him well there, I can't add to that.

Very sad news. Always enjoyed listening to him doing the F1 especially alongside James Hunt. RIP Mr Walker.
