Best tyres for 993 Turbo Twist rims

Hi All,
I've recently put my 993 turbo back on the road, time for some new rubber. Having had great experience of both the Michelin super sport and PS4S on my V12V, I'm keen to replace the rubber that's on the car (Pilot Sport 2) with something similar.
OEM size (I believe)which is on the car:
225/40/18 front
265/35/18 rear
Ive seen various posts on Porsche forums where people are using 275/285/295 in both 30/35 on the rear, anyone on here got experience? Best matching set of Supersports I can find is 225/40/18 front and 285/35/18 rear. Can't get PS4s or SS in the OEM size.
Any feedback welcome

I think 285/30 was correct but for wide body rims, on the narrow body (different offset) its at 265/35. at least that's what's on my rims..! 285/30 only available as Pilot sport 2.Alex.
The 'turbo1' rims are all the same width, NB or WB. It's the offset that varies.
285/30 or 265/35 fit on both, and owners in the past would have mixed it up for what's available plus looks.
I would do as Stewart suggests, and whizz one off just to be sure.
'Correct' rims for the turbo/WB are ET40, with ET65 for the NB. You may have ET65s with 25mm spacers, which is not the end of the world, but I doubt it.

Thanks guys for your feedback, yes they are genuine hollow ones - not solid, checked them last time the car was in for work. Strangely enough they are actually narrow body ones with spacers. Will seek out a proper rear set in due course....

It really doesn't matter - the only difference is a wodge extra bit of metal at the 'stem' of the wheel, exactly where the spacer is.ETA - here's a photo of one I made earlier. Look carefully at the hub-mating area - the one on the RHS has 25mm more 'depth' on the inside, if that makes sense. It's why the ET40 weighs more than the ET65.
The WB turbolook car was even optioned from the factory on 17" cup2s with 25mm spacers, so I'd save the two thousand pounds trying to find ET40s and spend it on hookers and cocaine.
Am I allowed to say that still?
But if you want originality, as your rears are probably non-factory, I'd check the fronts as well. They were made in 8J and later 7.5J - nerdingly speaking, your turbo almost certainly came on 8Js.

Well they were, but it's not important.
My point was, if some nefarious individual swopped the WB rears for NB rears, sourced 'probably' from a 996, they may have swopped the fronts as well, as the 8Js were only made for a year or so, and the 7.5Js were made until 996.2 was born, thus making the 8J rarer and therefore somehow more valuable.

At some stage the car was put on aftermarket rims (long before me) and I like the factory look so bought what I *thought* were the correct rims a couple of years ago. It runs and handles perfectly fine with the 25mm spacer so will keep that.
Found PS4s in near enough sizes to what I'm running in the end, wasn't brave enough for the Cup and "don't floor it in water" suggestion.
