Roof racks

I have one of those suction cup racks for skis/snowboards. I think they also have other variants (eg bike) - only used it once as the max speed for it is 70 mph or some such figure

Edit: actually the reason is probably that i am alwasy onmy own, so can throw stuff in the car ...

I have a Seasucker, tested at 120mph on the autobahn with two bikes on the roof of my NSX... expensive, but I wouldn't trust a 'cheaper' suction cup when that is all that is holding the item on the roof and any leakage is total failure of that cup! with 4 suction cups there is some 'redundancy' but it still took some time to fully trust them!
