Went to david geralds today to lok at a Cerbera they had in stock and immediatey fell in love with a 1970 Tuscan V6 that had been dropped off for sale or return. Reg FWY 701J, orange with black interior.

Canned the Cerb, bought the Tuscan and now loking forward to picking it up in a couple of weeks.

Im sure I will be back with questions and I will supply pics as well.

Very excited ( have i done the right thing?) heart says YES!

About 1986 (?) I went to view an orange Tuscan (can't be many of those about even then ?), it was in E.Anglia and owned by a Dr. at the time, I always regretted not buying it, do your reg docs show anything like that ?

If it isn't a rude question how much did you pay for it? I've got one and have no idea what the current market value is.

Good decission !!!!
In 5-10 years time the Cerb will be a boy-racer with a vauxhall engine transplant in it !!!
The Tuscan V6 on the other hand will be a high valued collectible classic.

have fun !

Hey, just in time for the great weather - sounds like you're enjoying it anyway. Used mine for work all last week (about 250 miles) and didn't break down once! My appointment at the dentist to have the fillings put back in is next week..... Haven't forgotten to search out articles for you, just a bit short on time (and my filing system isn't as good as I thought).

BTW, Does your car have the horrid Zodiac gearbox with overdrive? - An engine bay piccie would be interesting (then I know what mine's supposed to look like).

Yep, Zodiac engine with overdrive switch on the dash behind the indicator stalk. I will sort out some pics over the next couple of days.
also managed to get a copy of motor magazine from 1969 with the original tuscan roadtest - it says it is one of the quickest cars they had ever tested! ( and one of the lairiest)

Is that the mag with the MAD mini pick-up with an enormous V8 in the back? - if so I'll cross it off the list of things to find.
