Email quandary

Plusnet use aliases to do this
An alias is an email address in name only: emails sent to aliases get delivered to whichever mailbox you choose.
Say you've got your email address, andrew@smith.plus.com. You could choose an alias called john@smith.plus.com and point it at the andrew@smith.plus.com mailbox. Any emails you then send to the John Smith email address will land in the Andrew Smith inbox. The alias just gives you another email address to use for the same mailbox.
To read emails sent to your alias email address, log in to your email account using the username and password for the mailbox you've pointed the alias to.
To set up an alias, go to Manage My Mail and click on Aliases.

You can create aliases in GMail as well by adding +aliasname after the name section of the address.
Email address: driver@gmail.com
Aliases: driver+alias1@gmail.com, driver+alias2@gmail.com etc. All replies go into the main inbox but you can use filters.
Just be aware not all services support + aliases as someEmail address: driver@gmail.com
Aliases: driver+alias1@gmail.com, driver+alias2@gmail.com etc. All replies go into the main inbox but you can use filters.
Incorrectly see them as invalid addresses
