If the new car is going to be more attractive than the Tamora (it's not just a T. with a roof) and have the option of the Targa, will this be the crushing of the Tamora concept or does a full soft-top make that much difference to people ?

I will not be swapping my soft top for a coupe - no way!! Traditional British sports car values dictate soft top, or no top at all!! I love the open car, it's one of the main reasons I got a TVR in the first place - I could have had a Cerbera, but it's a hard top, and the same with the Tuscan - not enough fresh air!!

Yes I agree I have owned a Cerbera,a Tuscan and a Chimaera and the full soft top option is the best for a proper sports car.If you are going to buy a car with a roof you might as well buy an M5!

Totally agree with Nubbin, there is no better feeling than a blast with the roof fully down, and I am sure that there will always be a big demand for this type of car.
With regards to the styling of the Tamora, I really do not see what the problem is. Any new car will not be more attractive than the Tamora, it will be different.
The Tamora looks the business (IMHO), and as with all TVR's is very sensitive to the colour which it is painted in. I shall certainly be sticking with mine

When I first saw the Tamora at the motorshow I really wasn't too impressed. Now after a couple of years I really do like it! So much so that I spent two hours in Castle TVR on Saturday looking at a Starmist Grey (same as my griff) Tamora, and now I have decided that this will be my next car (when funds allow). I was told to look out for the new T model as it does look very nice but I agree you can't have a roof when your thrashing it down to Le Mans!

Darren, I also went from a Griff 500 to the Tamora.
I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I do miss the Griff, but the Tamora is the business
I also brought it from Castle TVR, and found them to be very good, nothing was to much trouble for them.
Find those funds from somewhere, and get the order in, you know it makes sense
