Satellite Cable Issue

"The signal has been lost due to a satellite LNB short"

This message is coming up on my LG TV whenever I try and watch anything on Freesat. I've replaced the LNB but it didn't help. Is replacing the cable my only other option or is there something else I can try?

After changing the LNB it can now be down to two things, either the cable is damaged or it has water in it.

Does the message go away if you disconnect the cable at the tv end?

Yes, the message goes away but obviously I still don't get a signal. I've tried it with my sons LG TV with built in Freesat and it couldn't get a signal either. I'll try running a new cable from the dish.
