Why do people advertise cars covered in snow foam?

The same reason I send nudes with all the lights turned off, no flash on my camera and then pixelate anything that could be used to identify my small penis... Artistic shots. Or perhaps trying to hide something?
Genuinely though, this is just something dumb that people do as if it somehow shows that the car has been 'meticulously looked after' and is therefore trouble free and in immaculate condition. You would have to be an idiot to read in to that but clearly a lot of people do.
