We moved because of social housing place next door, whilst the last particular lot were not troublesome to us personally, they were selfish tards and the threat of them doing another council house swap at the drop of a hat made us realise there would be a string of them over the years

Was sad to see the place go but the constant disruption from them made you want to be anywhere else but at home. I suspect lockdown has been hellish for the people who we sold to

We live in a detached bungalow. We’ve been considering moving for a while now. Mainly because of the neighbours.

Once did live near a block of council flats and the folks were lovely. Elderly Caribbean lady who would often make enough for everyone else. Then some national front guy moved in and hanging his nazi flag out the window. He’d spit at her and even shat at her doorstep. Council didn’t know what to do. I felt sorry for her. Eventually he was beaten by some lads in the pub for bringing his flag there... justice. You never know who you’ll get near by. All the old homes seem to need work or a remodel which is a shame.

I like Hook. Seems peaceful. Looking forward to moving. I will miss the countryside but hey ho.
