Mortgage after moving from self employed to permanent
Discussion
After 20+ years of self employed (PSC Ltd company) I'll be moving to a permanent role in mid-April.
My current fixed term mortgage finishes end of June.
Is being a perm employee for just a few months going to restrict the offers available to me ? My work record as self employed is all good and I have a good financial record etc.
I suppose applying now as self employed is a big no no ?

If you know that your self employment is finishing then the lender couldn't use the self employed income.
Depending on the lender there should be no issues using your employed income. Some may need 3 months in employment, some may have no minimum time in employment.
Your best bet would be a decent broker and therefore Sarnie is your man.
