Best way to watch Moto GP?
Discussion
I'm sure this has been asked before but couldn't find anything.
I've always watched Moto GP on BT Sport, via sky box which made recording etc easy, but subscription lapsed last year and before I sign up for it again is the Moto GP video pass worth it?
Think BT sport is £24/month and the Moto GP pass is £170 odd for the year, so Moto GP is cheaper but is it better all round?
Thanks

Gp pass is better imho.
Races are online much quicker, you can catch up on all the practice sessions etc. It works worldwide, important for me as I travel a lot and cannot always watch live. You can cast the app to smart tvs or watch on laptops etc.
Buy it thru a vpn and save a few quid over the UK price as well.
I'm a sadist and miss KH's commentary from BT but other than that it's all good.

I choose Videopass too but have no idea how the commentary and additional aspects of the show compares with other sources. What I would say is I like being able to watch it live or on demand and I'm not paying for other crap I don't want e.g. football. I guess whether or not it's "the best" is down to what you're looking for.
Incidentally yes by using VPN you can get it cheaper as Dorna offer different packages for different countries. The UK package includes live timing I think, which I don't have.

I've not tried this yet, but apparently idonesian channel https://www.trans7.co.id/ broadcasts the race live, and in English.
edit - direct link :https://www.trans7.co.id/live-streaming
you might have to reload the page after getting an ad, but its HD and no VPN required

Probably best to check their schedule next week.

Is the motogp not free on BT internet anymore? If you had BT a few years back they threw in the BT sport channel.
No, in theory was initially free, then £5pm and some renewal promotions that didn't actually freeze it at that or reduce the price so binned them off. Looks like ~£20-£25pm on current promos (vs my straight Broadband deal bought elsewhere).Note small print in current BT deals too "The monthly price shown for BT Broadband, BT Sport (including TV and Sport add-ons) will increase each year from March 2022 by the Consumer Price Index rate of inflation published in January each year plus 3.9%."
If you do not want to pay there are numerous streaming services out there, none of which I will list for obvious reasons.
But you will have to accept some things, notably the bandwidth being stretched by other things notably football or big cricket matches, as suddenly at say 1pm thousands will be using the service.
Also the quality is often not that great, meaning it can be worthwhile using foreign language steams to get better quality as less will be watching. I usually watch the Oz Fox telecast, as it is in English, and uses the Dorna feed anyway, so no nobbers form BT to deal with.
Yes this is not strictly the best idea for quality, but if you prefer to keep your money for other things and have no issue doing it, it is freely available to anyone.

Get it all set up, lights turn to green stream dies and then you spend 10 minutes finding a new one then give up.
Stick to Quest highlights which in many cases is the full race.
