Knock Knock! Whats that?

Friendly tyre,shock, and exhaust centre(not the satan one) had my car up on their ramp yesterday investigating a clonk on rear suspension. It was pointed out to me that there was no gap between the top of one of the wishbones and the chassis. Mentioned something about a bush needing replacement. Does this make sense? Could this cause the clonking over poor road surfaces? Also get it when braking sometimes.

Yes Rolex, I would suspect that is where the knocking is coming from, it sounds awful and a lot worse as the knocking resonates through the chassis too!
Hopefully, not too expensive to get it fixed
