What is it about this name? Yes we've got a fair few Matts on PH as shown last week, this clearly shows that the parent generation of todays computer gadget using car freaks had an affinity to the name and named their off spring with it before shaping them into what they are today. But what is it about the parents of "Lee" they must have been complete tossers they have managed without exception to create an entire social group of half wit, hair gel wearing, sovereign ring clad, successful image portraying second hand car horse thiefs.

I pass a car every morning coming to work, It is a BMW318 complete with M body kit and everything that likes to generate the impression of wealth, status and success on the local council estate. It is driven by the scrawny late twenties, black haired, twin ear ring, puffer jacket wearer that is the archetypical "Lee". I dont know the guy, I've never met him, but I would bet my mortgage that he's a tosser. It wouldn't be any clearer if it was tatooed across his fore head, he personifies everything about his generation I detest. Given the chance I'd fire bomb his 3 bed semi where he swears at his neighbours, sterilise his bastard producing, virility demonstrator of a live in Girlfriend and wip young Jordan and Dwain into care before they to grow up to be the same beyond help leaches on society that their parents are. How do I know his name is "Lee" well he's forked out on his own little bit of one upmanship, instead of the cheap Northern Ireland age disguising plate that is the norm on 12 year old BMW's he's gone and bought L33 OKN but no he's not happy with that lets make the 3's look like backwards E's, then all the other dyslexic half wits from the cesspool that he originates from will see that "the boys made good"

Could you please make exception for my son "Lee", who after damaging his knees while in the Para's, has been retraining as a carpenter. During his spare time he is involved with the "Youth for Christ" movement (not my cup of tea, but whatever floats your boat) and is a youth group organiser. He rareley drives at all (he admits to being a crap driver) so will not be buying a BMW. He does not own a medallion, but occasionally does use hair gel..........I will have to have a word with him about that.

Actually Space and time are both parts of Spacetime, therefore distance and time are related.

Dyslexia is in no way connected to stupidity - it's a random brain rewiring that affects a significant minority giving a whole range of curses and gifts ranging from being crap at reading to being fantastically spatially aware. Being called Lee is however totally avoidable. What's worse is calling a girl Leigh - that's just saying "I was hoping for a thick son and am too pretentious to call the girl Traci"

Oh, and why do people fit personalised plates anyway? You've just spent thousands on a car and then you try to impress people with the couple on hundred quid on the arrangement of the letter on the numberplate? Do these people try to get VIN numbers that almost match their names?

On last thing - Hi to SON1A who drove the Merc 500SL round Hull in the early nineties. You spent four times the cost of a house on a car and then topped it off with your name on a plate just so I could shout "Oi Sonia - you left your lights on" and look cool in front of my mates.

Same is true in the US - you can pick up any six or seven digit plate providing noone else has it and it's not offensive.

Saw 'STIRRED' on a black DB6 last week in Palo Alto: very nice!
