Has anyone any experience of buying a Breitling and getting a decent discount for outright purchase? I am very tempted by a Superocean Heritage II but would like to know if a discount is possible and where I may be best to get one.

Thank you.

I purchased a new Navitimer from Dominic Hackett at a decent discount, maybe he could assist?

What made you think that?

I got 10% off mine because I pointed out to them in the shop that it was last year's model and used that for negotiation. I much preferred that model anyway but anything to save a bit of money!

I wish it was. Would make the watch I want under £2700 new.

Yeah, got my navitimer from Ernest Jones with no prior relationship and a gentle ask if any discounts available resulted in about 12% off.

Occasionally Beaverbrooks have the odd watch on at a sale price but you have to be quick. I got my Avenger II GMT for £2k instead of the list which was a tad over £3k. Might be worth keeping an eye out for their sale's when they eventually open again.

I got £300 off a Superocean a few months ago before the latest lock down.

I think it was Goldsmiths, and they asked me what I was looking to pay and haggled from there.

Always worth asking the question, whats the worse they can say?

I got 15% off my Superocean Heritage 11 46 from Watches of Switzerland.

I found one online cheaper, the online price company was also a physical shop so they couldn't use the 'don't match online prices' excuse. I explained that if they matched it then I'd buy it right then. After calling his area manager, they agreed and deal done.

I've had 20% discount for a Navitimer. I'd had a watch from that dealer before and they were happy to help out.

Old thread but I ended up getting one for £3100, which was £780 cheaper than RRP at the time.
