THREE HELD AT HEATHROW
Three men have been arrested at Heathrow Airport under anti-terrorism laws - but police say it is "inappropriate" to link them with the London bombings.
Metropolitan Police Deputy Assistant Commissioner Brian Paddick told Sky News the arrests were "reasonably routine".
He said they were part of a separate investigation and the men were not suspected of being involved in any planned second strike in the UK.
The suspects - all British nationals - were detained early on Sunday morning as they flew in from abroad.
Earlier, Home Secretary Charles Clarke warned the London bombers could be planning further attacks in Britain.
Mr Clarke said it was vital they were caught as quickly as possible.
Former Scotland Yard chief Lord Stevens believe the perpetrators are "almost certainly" British.
He has described them as "apparently ordinary British citizens, young men conservatively and cleanly dressed and probably with some higher education".
It has emerged the three bombs on Tube trains at Aldgate, Edgware Road and King's Cross exploded almost simultaneously at 8.50am on Thursday.

I look forward to the police catching these bastards...and I will happily pay my taxes to see them in prison for the rest of their lives. They will never be payrolled, and I am sure they will have a lovely time in the clink with all those other nice criminals...

My guess is that if and when someone is arrested they will be part of a trial that will last ages, be done for manslaughter, get 15 years, appeal, get out on the second appeal and then be offered compensation for 'wrongful' conviction.
Whilst locked up they will be kept in special detention areas well segregated from any other prisoners (except others arrested for the same bombing campaign perhaps) for 'security' reasons. I would expect that any religious requirements will be completely catered for.
The taxpayers will of course pick up the bill. I think any means of making the length of such expenditure shorter should be thoroughly investigated. Likewise the breadth of any costs - I would not like to think that the bomber's families, for example, were too much of a burden on the state because they lacked a suitable income from the convicted person.

We cater strictly to the religious desires of the fools at Gitmo and still catch hell from the lefties who are ignorant enough to think these animals are being abused because they are kept awake and made "uncomfortable". Give me a chance, I will enlighten the unknowing to the true definition of "uncomfortable". It never ceases to amaze me how people will refer back to a period in history that things were "done properly" and "life was right", etc. Yet, the leadership they all revere (sometimes rightfully so)used tactics that would draw holy hell today. In the race to create the Utopian PC society, people fail to realize that a simplistic "caveman ass-stomping" often is more effective than an "understanding your pain" session. People just don't f***ing get it!

I don't think he meant that. I believe he meant 3 bullets were for who was found out to be the culprit. Anyway, that is too liberal. Rub the bullet in pig blood, shoot his ass, then send the invoice for the pig and bullet to his family.
