I see that Porsche has taken down the Sport Design/Sport packages in all guises (aero kit) from the 992 Turbo/s models. The lightweight package has also gone; it was only available to spec with buckets for three weeks from February 15th- March 8th. I wonder if this is supply chain-related and will return or limited strategic production.

Has anyone got any information on the above or one coming with the above options? I am fortunate to have one in production. I find it a little strange that the options have been taken down from the configurator, especially the LW package considering it was only available for such a short-time period.

could be a desireable thing in the future, the 911t's trade for a premium for being 5kg lighter and this is -30kg and not that many people have spec'd it

Thats true, I don't know anyone else who has spec'd it or even wanted it but it was a very limited window of opportunity. Im looking forward to the sound deadening reduction to see what difference it makes to the cabin noise.

Porsche’s production management strikes again....this seems to happens so often. Heritage Pack on 991.2 Speedster got withdrawn very quickly as another recent example.

I wondered if it’s a WLTP thing? Do they need to re-certify on a regular basis so that perhaps prompts them to simplify spec options where possible?
