Interior colour scheme

In my 2006 Vantage the sill plates and interior door bars are a bit scuffed and could do with being refreshed. Also i just don't think the standard colour of them suits the Meteorite Silver exterior.

When having a look at similar models for inspiration, i've noticed a recurring theme here that almost all 4.3L Vantages have purple sill plates and purplish/grey interior door bars and window switch surrounds etc.

I want to change the colour theme but I want to keep things OEM looking and not too different from a factory colour as i'm a bit of a purist.

Has anyone sprayed the bits on the door or re-anodised the sill plates to a different colour before?

I was thinking of re-doing the bits on the door the same colour grey as the exterior and maybe redoing the sill plates to some sort of grey too but i'm not sure if it'll be good idea going for a colour change?

After some inspiration please, what standard colours were used for these items?

A friend of mine who owns a Tungsten Silver Vantage wanted to give a different look to his sills and decided to put Carbon Fiber Film on them. I think it looks great and was considerably less expensive than the real thing. And if you don’t like it you can remove it.

That carbon fibre looks really good. I was thinking of hydro-dipping in carbon but I feel like it won't really suit my car though as everything is standard.
