Apologies in advance if I being dumb, missing something (possible!), or this is perceived a daft question.

I've had my 2001 Tuscan since 2002, and still love it, it still makes me smile when I lift the garage door.

It came with the standard black carbon effect cans, which as I believe, and can see, are "baffled" the full length of the can.
Soon after buying, I thought I'd like a bit more "noise", so spoke to the guys at the Carbon Can Company (CCC), and they made me a fantastic set of cans, colour coded to the car, and are fully sleeved, with no visible baffles throughout the length of the can - they make a great noise (especially in tunnels!), with plenty of popping & banging.
After many years, the paint at the back end of the cans started bubbling, and I then thought I quite fancied a set of fully chromed cans. I found a set on here being sold reasonably priced, by a very helpful guy, so brought them - but to date I've never got round to fitting them.
Now the weather is on the up, I thought in the coming weeks, I'd fit them. Then I started thinking, will they still sound like my current colour coded CCC cans ?. I've now had a look at these chrome cans I brought, and can see that they look to be only baffled for approx the last half length of the can.
So, before I do fit these chrome cans, my question is, do you think they will still be louder than the original black carbon effect cans originally fitted to the car at build, but not quite as loud as the colour coded cans made for me by the CCC ?, and will I still get some popping & banging from them ?.
Thanks in advance of any feedback.

They will be somewhere between the 2 but will cut the raspy sound if you're decatted. I played around when I first decatted as didn't like the raspy edge with full sleeves and ended up with half sleeved ones.

Thanks Basil, mine aren't de-catted, so would this make any other differences in your experience ?.

Hi

Try contacting Simon at Power Tec, Poulton le Flyde (Blackpool) and have a chat with him 01253 891087.
He has made cans for us (catted with pops and bangs) and he can get them colour coded them if reqd.

I've had a couple of catted Tuscans and played around with various end cans. I've had the factory ones, fully sleeved Carbon Cans and Sagaris ones. IMHO the best sound of any of them are the Sagaris ones. You can see through them, but have a perforated pipe with wadding behind which gives a much deeper and pleasant exhaust note. If they look as good as Carbon Cans is very personal of course!
