Current accounts and Statements

I am a traditional bank customer, I don't do online or phone app banking. I keep my own records and check them against a bank statement that arrives by mail each month.

I am reluctant to change,

My bank has been taken over by another and my account is being integrated into their systems which will mean the end of paper statements.

Does anyone know of a bank which provides current accounts and issues monthly paper statements?

Lloyds still do.

If you can't find one, most banks have the option of downloading a pdf of your statement which you can print off. Not quite what you're after but the end result is the same.

I have the opposite problem, everything is set to paperless but ever time I recieve money from abroad Santander send me a flipping letter!

Barclays.

I imagine all banks allow you to download and print off statements (Barclays do). You can then complete your double entry book-keeping with a quill pen by the light of a tallow candle.

I thought all bank were obliged to send paper statements if the customer asks for it.

By the way, I have moved on to fountain pens from quills and Bob Cratchit has used the last of the candles, extravagent beggar.

Thank you, I was hoping First Direct would do statements, I understand that they have a good reputation for customer service.

I bank with Barclays and don't understand why I can't stop them sending me paper statements - they just go straight into the shredder and I download them for prosperity.

Faultless in my experience! It is so nice just to be able to ring up, somebody answers, and they can sort stuff out in a minute or two.

Not that long ago, in my lifetime, that Coutts used to hand write each statement, and not in biro either.
