F-15s over Cambridgeshire Friday 26.03.2021

I’m on the Cambs/Beds border and just had at least half a dozen F-15s buzz over the village.

Anyone else had the pleasure and have any photos?


ETA Local FB post states 8 F-15s and a handful of Apaches...

Interesting, just heard a hell of a racket in Northants too. Nothing showing on FR24, guess it must be military.

I think it's a retirement flight for one of the yanks, out of Lakenheath.

Yep USAF. I saw a post saying cloud cover is at 1200ft and they looked to be flying at around 500ft!

Heard them overhead, but unfortunately I was on a conference call so could get any pictures, certainly sounded impressive.

They didn't please the Wife though - she had her stabby jabby covid thing yesterday and currently has a thumping headache

They went over here (South Worcestershire, Bredon Hill area) a little while ago - very low. Heading West so guessing Mach loop?

I'm just north of Stratford upon Avon and this morning heard, but couldn't see, fast jet noise to the south of me. Other than commercial air traffic into Birmingham Airport we rarely get much excitement here - only the occasional Vampire and Jet Provost flights from Coventry.
