Effect app Photoshop etc

I want to wind a colleague up, is there an app to add effects like smashed glass etc?

Youll want one that can distort a layer for the crack to match the object.
Personally I'm a Photoshop old timer so id do stuff like that myself to make it as realistic as possible.
