When do the journalists get hold of the GT3??
Discussion
I’ve no doubt it will get glowing reviews.
Porsche will always find improvements, and the journos rely on keeping their readers excited to justify their jobs.
However, from my own POV, and many of my Porsche acquaintances, there seems to be fatigue about the relevance of another new GT3 in today’s world.
Its benefits will probably only really be exploited by a skilled driver on track, it’s not a great looker, and still a lot of money at a time when ICE cars are staring down the barrel of a ticking clock.
The petrolheads I know, now seem keener on past models of all types, with greater simplicity and purity for their driving fun.

I think this post sums it up very well.......Porsche will always find improvements, and the journos rely on keeping their readers excited to justify their jobs.

Agree with this. Desire definitely waned from all quarters. Porsche will always find improvements, and the journos rely on keeping their readers excited to justify their jobs.

But surely we all still want to see what the press have to say ?
It certainly feels like the law of diminishing returns and new legislative restrictions are very much in play ... and it does make me wonder if a new direction for Porsche in the style of the GR Yaris could be more deserving of their undoubted skills.
Like their polishing to create the Audi RS2 ? Or Prodrive's polishing to create the Impreza P1 ??
Unless they believe that VW and Audi already cover this ... too many questions !

If you want to know what they will say just scroll back to previous models, nothing changes.
without going back, I would suggest words along the lines of the following:1) that front end is amazing, finally no more understeer, which was one of the main issues of the last version....
2) that engine is a marvel, it revs so quickly and all that with a 9k rpm red line in today's world
3) it feels like it should cost double the money, more fun than [expensive 8-cylinder performance car]
shot of car drifting, shot from the rear of car accelerating into the distance, shot of reviewer laughing/smiling etc

Indeed, whilst there will no doubt be an incremental performance uplift, I very much doubt anyone on here has the talent to extract it.
When I drove a 991.1 GT3 RS I decided all the extra tech. grip and power would not make me a better driver. It would merely mean any mistake or accident would likely occur at a higher speed. You have more talent. If you want to go faster, you can just be a little less sideways.
